Weather permitting, we will also go downtown & I will teach the group how I do my “night scapes” images.

Senior pictures on the lake…
…Lake Michigan, that is!
We finally were able to do our “group shoot” at Lake Michigan last Saturday, June 13th. We had a great turnout with 13 class of 2010 seniors joining us. The skies didn’t exactly cooperate… as the storms cleared out, the clouds were supposed to follow! They did not. They stuck around.
Still… from the feedback I have received so far, I’d say it was a huge success! The kids all had fun & everyone has some killer shots to choose from. I will post more as they come back for their regular sessions & pick their favorites.
For now, I’ll just show you one of Karly so you can get an idea of how it went. Rock on class of 2010!

I am very excited to announce my partnership with SPA Models!

My trip to Senior Portrait Artists “family circle”
I just got back from the Senior Portrait Artists (SPA) “Family Circle” in Louisburg Kansas. It is a 2 day event with some of the best senior portrait photographers in the country. What I love about SPA is how everyone makes you feel so welcome, and the open sharing of information about the business, and the art of photography.
I am soon going to be offering some great new products that I saw at SPA headquarters. I am very excited!
In the spirit of the open sharing, and teaching, I spoke to the group about some of the things I have planned this year, including a big event I am doing in December. Pretty cool stuff I will be announcing later. 
I also have a pretty amazing announcement coming in just days… Stay tuned, it is going to be awesome!
I took very few pictures while I was there… it was more about teaching and learning. Here are a couple snapshots from the trip.

Class of 2010 Senior Model, Whitney
Shelby, a 2009 senior model, sent me Whitney. She is very much a social butterfly & we had such a great time in our interview just laughing & telling stories, that we almost ran out of time before we shot some pictures!
She is into golf, and just hanging with her friends. Look for more of her later this spring or early summer, when we get to do her full model card session.
